Lateefah E. Jackson survived narcissism that was justified through religious ideologies. Her resilience will captivate your heart and inspire your soul, reminding you that even in the darkest times, what seemed impossible is possible.

Have you ever made a choice that changed the course of your life forever? The author's journey began in the summer of 1994 at Lincoln University, where she became involved with a preacher from Chicago who ultimately became a pastor. This compelling memoir chronicles her trials and triumphs as she endured subjugation and oppression, which gradually shaped her perspective and faith. How do we rise against insurmountable odds when failure seems inevitable? You will no longer question whether chronic control, manipulation, and intimidation are indicators of narcissism, even from those we trust and love.

Autorenporträt
Lateefah was born and raised in Menlo Park, California, by her parents along with her two sisters. At the age of nineteen, she married a young preacher from Chicago, which marked the start of twenty-six years of abuse. They had two sons and two sets of twin daughters. Over time, Lateefah began teaching the Gospel to a small group of women and eventually became the First Lady of her church. In her later years, she received her minister's license through a Chicago-based church organi- zation. firstladylateefah@gmail.com
