Nico Pengin is a speculative fiction author who loves to create fun and imaginative stories that inspire kids and teens alike with a life-long love of reading. Drawing inspiration from his rich heritage as part of the Tainos people from the Caribbean, Nico Pengin is passionate about sharing his wild imagination with his readers. As an avid reader from a young age, he has been heavily inspired by books including Redwall by the late and great Brian Jacques, as well as Eiichiro Oda's manga, One Piece. Nico Pengin is currently working on a book series, and his comic called Batey. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, spending time with his supportive family, and living his life to the fullest.

About the name Nico Pengin:
Nico Pengin is a gamer tag designed to honor a friend and mentor of the author who served as a positive role model when he was younger. It also combines elements of the popular children's game Club Penguin, and the name has stuck with him ever since.
