Autorenporträt
The author performed office work for twenty years and then so as to be able to come and go as a single parent as needed, drove taxis for the next twenty. The latter gave him a headful of ideas for novels, short stories and movie scripts. Later he lectured on business subjects at a tertiary college, from manuals he created. For two years he was a committee member of a community live theatre. He's written fifty odd articles for two newspapers. In 2012 he attended the launching of the book 'The Lost Journal of Bram Stoker', held in the premises of its publisher in London, England. While there he attended the London International Book Fair with a view to discussing with screenplay people, his up-and-coming historical fiction, feature film screenplay 'Ships in the Night', which is about Australia's first submarine to see military action (Google HMAS AE2), which was skippered by Henry Hugh Gordon Dacre Stoker. In retirement the author lives on the edge of a rainforest near his son and granddaughter, and would hate to see the world's rainforests destroyed.
