Prof. Dr. Vir Singh is currently an ICAR-Emeritus Professor of environmental science at GB Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Uttarakhand, India. He has four decades long experience in teaching, research, extension, research supervision, and environmental writing. Holding dual doctoral degrees, he has been educated and trained in many universities and institutes in India and abroad. He has served four faculties (Forestry & Hill Agriculture, Agriculture, Veterinary & Animal Sciences, and Basic Sciences & Humanities) of the GB Pant University of Agriculture & Technology in various capacities. He has also served the university as coordinator, liberal education and director communication. He has published many books, monographs, lab manuals, research papers, articles and book chapters.

Dr. R. K. Srivastava is äProfessor in the department of environmental science at G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Uttarakhand, India. He obtained his PhD degree in chemical engineering from the¿Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in the¿year 1993. He has 25 years of¿industrial and academic experience in the field of Environmental Management. He has vast professional expertise in Industrial waste management, environmental impact assessment, bioenergy production and rural and urban sanitation. He has published/presented various research papers at the¿national & international level and carried out many consultancy projects related to EIA (environment impact assessment) and industrial environmental management. He was also nominated by the¿government of India as a member of the¿state expert appraisal committee (EIA) under the¿Uttar Pradesh Government for grant of environmental clearances to industries/projects from July 2007 to July 2010.

Professor (Dr.) Arvind Kumar Bhatt is currently serving as Pro-Vice Chancellor, Shoolini University, Himachal Pradesh, India. He has extensively worked in the areas of industrial microbiology, enzyme technology, biofuel, waste management, and¿herbal healthcare. He has worked with several national and international institutes. Dr. Bhatt has successfully served HP University in various administrative capacities as Dean, Director, Coordinator, and Head of the teaching departments. He has successfully headed the industrial biotechnology division and was instrumental in drafting the biotechnology policy. He has various research papers to his credit published in scientific journals of repute.
