Life is one big stage, and the joke's on all of us.
In Beggars and Other Comedians, kings grumble about taxes, plumbers fight leaky pipes, teachers wrangle chaos, and lawyers... well, twist the law until it screams. From the gutter to the throne, Martin Kari serves up ten sharply observed comedies that prove one thing: no matter our title or paycheck, we're all comedians stumbling through the same punchlines.
Prepare to laugh, cringe, and maybe recognize yourself in these pages-because if life is serious business, why does it look so funny from the cheap seats?
