Belonging- My Transformation to a Cult-Free Life, is my life story. The questions I have been asked most often are "Why did you get involved with a Cult in the first place?" and "Why did it take you so long to finally get out?"

On the road to recovery, I found the answers to both: Uncertain of my own identity and being vulnerable, I felt the need to belong, to fit in and be accepted.

Furthermore, the betterment of humankind, a hallmark of many Cults, aligned with my purpose. Thus, I was drawn to the Cult's professed goals and so committed to their lofty ideals, I ignored the signs of insatiable greed and tolerated harsh abuse.

Many organizations, and individuals for that matter, are not what they seem. Unfortunately, I'm not the first person, nor will I be the last, to be deceived. Hopefully my book will help those in need of guidance.
