Mary Obiechina Ifeakandu is an educator, neuroscientist-in-training, and founder of MaryEmpowers, a platform dedicated to mentorship, career development, and youth empowerment. She began her academic career as a lecturer at the University of Nigeria and is now pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Manitoba, Canada. Through initiatives across Nigeria and Canada, she has championed STEM advocacy, vocational training, and student transitions from academia to industry. Her debut book, Beyond the Books, reflects her mission to bridge the gap between education and the evolving professional world.
