Produktbeschreibung
As the author of five award-winning humorous memoirs, activist and comedian Fay Jacobs returns with her newest and final installment of tall tales, Big Girls Don't Fry: Rehoboth Beach Wrap-Up. And, as you'd expect, It's chock-full of Fay's signature witty, wise, and often laugh-out-loud commentary about the craziness of contemporary life in the diverse and welcoming resort town of Rehoboth Beach on the Delaware Coast.

This time, though, everyone's favorite "Sit-Down Comic" grapples with the insanity of senior citizen grocery baggers, mastering the art of 18-character passwords, and maintaining Covid-era video happy hours . . .

Big Girls Don't Fry begins in the days following January 6th and culminates with an urgent plea to Don't Say Fay as you file to the polling place in 2024 to cast your vote to protect democracy. It chronicles the joy and pain of aging gracelessly, becoming a Girl Scout Woman of Distinction (who saw THAT coming?), and learning how to calculate her age in meme years. It tells a few harrowing personal stories, such as getting an unnerving medical diagnosis, kissing penguins and riding camels, and how she was cyber-bullied during a Zoom history lesson called "Gay with Fay, the History Nobody Taught You in School." And through it all, she finds a way to make it provocative, political, occasionally heartwarming, and reliably hilarious.

Featuring Fay's last magazine columns from Letters from CAMP Rehoboth and Delaware Life, Fay's final collection of columns, Big Girls Don't Fry is a pleasure for longtime fans and new readers alike.

Come along for the rideyou'll be happy you did!
