Autorenporträt
Dominique was born and raised in the state of Vermont. Growing up in a predominantly White area, she often felt an immense pressure to fit in with those around her. She grew to embrace her ethnicities and appreciate her differences. This wasn't an easy journey as she struggled with her identity, sexuality, and overall purpose in life. After learning from many challenges and experiences, it only felt natural for her to express her efforts to exist through poetry.
