Autorenporträt

Denise Aileen DeVries is a translator, blogger, poet, and historical fiction author. Originally from Colorado, she lived in Arizona for four years after forty years in Virginia. A member of the Poetry Society of Virginia, Chesapeake Bay Writers, and the Writers Guild of Virginia, Denise coordinates the annual Author Expo for Lancaster Community Library in Kilmarnock.

The rural Virginia town inspired her "Hull Crossing Chronicles" and "Key to History" historical fiction series and the one-act plays A Two-Faced Spinster and Barbershop Gossip. She is currently collaborating on writing a play with a director at Lancaster Players in White Stone.
