Norma Lewis is the author of twenty books, evenly split between children's literature and Michigan history. After careers in accounting and sales, she discovered her true passion-writing. She began with hundreds of magazine articles before turning her focus to books, particularly humorous picture books about animals. An avid traveler, she has a special fondness for Alaska and Great Britain. Lewis lives in Holland, Michigan, with her mischievous marmalade cat, Scalawag. Both of them love spending time with her grandchildren.
