Autorenporträt
Sneha Gautam is an Associate Professor in the Division of Civil Engineering at Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore, India. He earned his PhD (Engineering) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and his MTech (Environmental Science and Engineering) from IIT-ISM Dhanbad. After his PhD, he joined INCLEN and the University of California, Berkeley, as a researcher, followed by a Post-Doctoral FellSpatio-temporal Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan, and pursued postdoctoral research at NCTU, Taiwan. His name has been featured consecutively (2021-2024) in Stanford University's Top 2% Scientists of the World list. Suneel Kumar Joshi is a distinguished hydrogeologist and landscape restoration expert with over 15 years of multidisciplinary experience across hydrology, groundwater modelling, river science, remote sensing, and sustainable water management. Currently serving as Director - Landscape Restoration Projects at Geo Climate Risk Solutions Pvt. Ltd., he leads a broad spectrum of initiatives in flood risk management, water stewardship, lake rejuvenation, and geohazard assessments. Dr. Joshi holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, specializing in hydrogeology, groundwater modelling, stable isotopes, and GIS applications. He further pursued M.Tech in Remote Sensing and GIS from SRM University, and an M.Sc. in Earth Sciences. His academic and research affiliations include prestigious institutions such as Imperial College London and the National Institute of Hydrology, Roorkee. Balram Ambade is an Associate Professor and former Head of Department at Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, India. He has been in academia for over 20 years and has contributed prolifically to research in atmospheric and water chemistry, environmental remediation of toxic metals, microplastics, and PFAS. He is the recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Early Career Research (ECR) award by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), the Marie Curie Award from Hyytiälä Forest Field Station, Helsinki, Finland, the Groningen Biomolecular Sciences and Biotechnology Institute (GBB) award from the University of Groningen, Netherland, and the Young Scientist Award from China in 2014, and the NASA Earth Science Division Modeling, MAP award by Météo-France in Toulouse, France.
