Cristina Fernández-Bessa is Ramón y Cajal Distinguished Research Fellow and Lecturer in Criminal Law and Criminology at the University of A Coruña, Spain. Valeria Ferraris is Associate Professor of Sociology of Law and Deviance at the University of Turin, Italy.
