Brahman is transcendent and immanent ultimate reality, Supreme Cosmic Spirit. Brahman is the supreme existence or absolute reality to be achieved by all the humans. Vedas inform us that Brahman is all things and all the things are Brahman. Brahman is that by knowing which everything is known and so the section of the Vedas, which explains Brahman, is the most important.
The word Brahman is the un-manifested form of the infinite, omnipresent, immanent being, which is actually the supreme reality. The entire universe around us is only the manifestation of Maya. Maya is also the creation of Brahman to create ignorance and to separate creation from Brahman. There are two kinds of Brahman.
All that we see and experience in the awakened state of our mind is the Sagun Brahman and the formless that pervades the entire cosmos and is undetectable by us is Nirgun Brahmam. Sugun means who has all the characteristics. Nirgun means which is beyond all the characteristics even He can't be known by our sciences. The Trinity of three supreme Lords, Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva has emerged from the Nirgun Brahman in the beginning of creation before our earth. Brahma doesn't mean Brahman and Brahman doesn't mean God, which have a very narrow meaning as per Bible.

Before the creation of universe there was neither observable nor unobservable universe, nor matter, nor energy, nor non-matter, nor any living or non-living being existed. So before that either there was something or there was nothing? It is the biggest law of sciences that nothing can come out of nothing, so there must be something before, from which this entire universe has emerged out. This is in agreement to all the sciences and philosophies/ religions of the world.
Moreover that something must have planned everything from beginning to end of the universe and created all the laws of matter, energy and non-matter, living and non-living and everything before starting creation. Since there was none else He must have become everything Himself and He is the biggest Creator in the universe. He has created the universe for Himself none else. We call Him Brahman. Brahman also created a Dharma to be followed by all the humans.

About the Author
Sri Dharam Vir Mangla, M.Sc. M.Ed. PGDCA got his master's degrees from the University of Delhi. Since his birth, he had a scientific bent of mind. He joined his Ph.D. in Mathematics at Delhi University in 1969. Since his childhood, he has studied religious books. He used to discuss Brahman, Scripture, and science with saints and learned people. In 1969, a divine miracle of Sri Sathya Sai Baba transformed his soul, life, philosophy, and thinking. He became a perfect theist with a firm faith and conviction in God. He surrendered himself to God. After that, he was fully interested in knowing and seeking God. He devoted all his energies to the pursuit of God, spiritual studies, and yoga practices. During 1976-78, he served as a professor of Mathematics at the University of Aden. Since 1996, he has worked as the Principal in Delhi.

The Yogoda Satsanga Society (YSS) initiated him in 'Kriya Yoga'. He is a scholar of Science, Mathematics, Education, and Philosophy, and can correlate Sciences, Scriptures, and God. This book is based on his vast yogic experience and studies. He learnt meditation from various saints in the Himalayas and YSS. This book is useful to all categories of men: believers, non-believers, and the wavering minds about God. By his spiritual discourse at various places, including the USA, he is bringing a transformation in people.

This book will help "Seekers of the Ultimate Truth". It is a laborious and commendable research work. The scientists will do further research work as suggested by the author throughout the book and add further to it, as it is a continuous process in the development of knowledge.
