Autorenporträt
Michael Betcherman is a writer and filmmaker living in Toronto. He has written three highly-accclaimed young adult novels, Breakaway, Face-Off and The Justice Project. Breakaway was shortlisted for the John Spray Mystery Award. Face-Off was shortlisted for the Arthur Ellis Mystery Award. The Justice Project was a finalist for The Shining Willow Award.

He is also the author of Suzanne, a romantic comedy about an opportunistic widow in search of a rich husband. He is the co-writer, with David Diamond, of The Daughters of Freya, a mystery about a journalist investigating a cult in California. He has numerous credits as a writer and producer in both dramatic and documentary television.
