Heidi Wessman Kneale is an Australian author of moderate repute. She writes lovely escapist fiction, especially Romance and Fantasy, with a bit of Science Fiction thrown in. Ever since she learned how to read, she's sought those books that let her escape from everyday life and discover a new world. Occasionally the Real World intrudes, but those moments are soon past, and she can get back to that which ain't real.

She has written short stories, novellas, non-fiction and more, but ultimately, her heart lies with books.

Like most humans, she has a family. She also keeps company with the World's Most Boring Cat. WMB Cat is in a rivalry with Outside Cat, who thinks she belongs to Her Grace. OC used to belong to the neighbours until decided to abandon them and come live on Her Grace's front porch. Outside Cat is allowed to remain, for she keeps away the ghosts.
