Autorenporträt

Maria Soulful, 1972 geboren, ist verheiratet, hat drei erwachsene Kinder und ein Enkelkind. 'Building a Bridge - Die Geschichte einer Freundschaft in Schritten" ist ihr erster Roman; er basiert auf einer wahren Geschichte. Als Wundexpertin hat sich Soulful 25 Jahre lang um Menschen mit chronischen Wunden gekümmert. Sie hielt Vorträge, arbeitete als Sprecherin und schrieb Texte für medizinische Fachzeitschriften. Da neben dem Schreiben ebenso die Malerei zu ihren Leidenschaften zählt, setzt sie unterschiedlichste Themen künstlerisch um und stellt ihre Werke aus. Sie sagt: "Ich mag es, die menschliche Seele und deren Aspekte kreativ zum Ausdruck zu bringen."
