Autorenporträt
Michael Hummel wurde 1968 in Hameln geboren und ist der Rattenfängerstadt auch treu geblieben. Nach der Beendigung der Realschule schlug er unterschiedliche Berufswege ein. Zunächst arbeitete er 22 Jahre bei einem Bremsenhersteller als Betriebsschlosser. Außerdem war er Fremdsprachenkorrespondent, er spricht fließend Englisch und Spanisch. Er war zudem einige Jahre in der Information eines Krankenhauses tätig. Neben der Liebe zum geschriebenen Wort ist das Rennradfahren seine große Leidenschaft, vor allem, weil er hier in der Natur verweilen kann. Dazu passt auch sein weiteres Hobby, nämlich das Angeln, bei dem er ebenfalls viele friedliche Stunden in der Natur verbringen kann. Nach "Hummel, Hummel - Mors, Mors" ist dies bereits die zweite Veröffentlichung des Autors im novum Verlag.
