Skylar knew the details, so she didn't have to get her papers out and when Whitney made some strong demands Skylar held her ground. She knew that for Whitney to be spending time over this deal because they wanted her to play hardball.

Skylar's gut told her that this was in some way personal and made her dig in and negotiate back just as hard. They had secured a deal before they had even got to the coffees. The papers were signed, Whitney to relaxed a little, and asked go to the bar and have a drink and talk. Whitney asked several off the wall questions sipping her drink, then she asked a question Skylar never saw coming. But she then what this entire game was about.

Her parents, George Bertrand Christian, an attorney who once aspired to be an actor, and Frances Hollowell insisted that Candice and her sister Simone, be sent to a Catholic school. Candice was deeply religious as a child, at one point thought of becoming a nun.
