Richard C. Ybarra (Born and raised San Diego, California) Educator/Designer/Photographer/Fine Art Painter/Creative Horseshoe Productions-RCY. Established 1988. 1979-Honors Graduate, San Diego State University, San Diego, California. Bachelor's Degree Graphic Design Communication. 2004-Richard was published in the 8th Edition of Who's Who Among American Teachers® 2006- Richard completed his Master's Degree with honors in Education Instructional Leadership at Argosy University, Orange County, California. Richard C. Ybarra, Educator/Designer/Photographer/Fine Art Painter/Creative. Has over 35 years as a graphic designer/art director in San Diego's advertising/design community. His work experience also extends in teaching, 21 years at The Art Institute-San Diego and 7 years at the University of California San Diego Extension. Richard's creative talents are not only in graphic design and advertising. He has also exhibited his photographic and fine art work in galleries throughout San Diego County and California. Richard is a story teller, both verbally and in his art work. His compositions carry over into a theme-based arena of a specific subject matter, all based on visual story telling. He is an old school purist when it comes to his photography. To some collectors, his award winning photographic work is his specialty. He has educated himself to understand the versatile images he captures. In his work, he seeks to express the sights of life and a creative journey to share and enjoy. His goal is for viewers to see his work and allow them to be a part of his creative adventure. Through this adventure, they will learn how images translate in his mind.
