This encouraging autobiography captures what it's like to losing family members to the 'chain gang' aka penitentiaries. Vanesia Rosa'n Johnson Thompson's eldest son was faced with a prison sentence labeled as railroading, like many of her loved ones. A bewildered mother's cry for justice rings out as her child is given a harsher sentence than normal for the crime that he has committed. Vanesia is one in millions that has experienced the trauma that comes along with empathy for our loved ones serving more time than deserved! She strongly believes that the Great Lord carried her through those tough times and that Gopd can encourage other people despite anything that they may go through. My name is Vanesia Rosa'n Johnson, Thompson and I am a mother of five and grandmother of three at this present time. Most of all, I am a child of God that enjoys encouraging others through the obstacles that he has blessed me through. I have experienced losing family members to prison systems since six grade. After I was able to unite with my biological father for the first time, after I was grown, he told me about eighty to ninety percent of his brothers and my grandfather were felons from state and federal penitentiaries. When I experienced receiving my own TDC number and my brother serving a life sentence and soon after I was released my son got incarcerated and serving a twenty five aggravated sentence right now, aroused my spiritual antennas realizing that this is a generational curse along with bad choices. Then as I got older, my mother told me that I received more prison mail than people calling our home phone in the free world. I would laugh and eventually realized it was true. Over the years more and more of my loved ones or close associates were getting incarcerated. Through it all, God has blessed me with testimonies that can encourage others. I named this book after my son that is incarcerated, 'My Son, Twin, Prince and King' He is my first born son, on January 18th and mine is January 19 which is why I said son and twin. I raised my sons and daughter as prince and princesses growing into kings and queens. While in prison we all found out that one of his gifts is rapping. That gene comes from me because all of my children rap. This book starts off with one of his raps titled 'Can I Speak!?!
