Dr. Virat Khanna is working as an Associate professor at UCRD, Chandigarh University, Punjab, India. He is an accomplished academic and researcher with over 15 years of experience in higher education and scientific research. He has authored more than 70 publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals indexed in SCI, Scopus, and Web of Science. His research contributions span nanotechnology, materials science, and sustainable development. Dr. Khanna has served as an editor for multiple books and conference proceedings with leading international publishers, including Springer, CRC Press, IGI Global, and Bentham Science. He is actively involved in scholarly publishing and currently serves on the Editorial Board of Scientific Reports (Nature Group) and Discover Nano (Springer). Additionally, he holds the position of Academic Editor for the Journal of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Science and Engineering, both published by Wiley. As a recognised leader in his field, Dr. Khanna is the Book Series Editor for Recent Advances in Materials for Nanotechnology , published by CRC Press (Taylor & Francis). He has also guest-edited several special issues for renowned international journals, including those published by Springer and De Gruyter. Dr. Khanna has delivered numerous invited seminars, keynote addresses, and workshops at prestigious international conferences. His contributions to research and academia have been recognized with multiple Best Research Paper awards.
