Love doesn't always end with happily ever after-but life goes on.
Long-retired author Elijah Dirk has lived a long life. Nearing his 100th birthday, he picks up a worn book and begins reading to a bedridden fellow nursing home resident and the eager staff who gather round to listen to a love story most could only dream of.

Decades ago, Elijah was a poor midwestern boy with a gift for baseball and a heart full of hope. Maggie Montgomery was the girl from Boston he could never stop loving-rich, headstrong, and always just out of reach. Life pulled them apart more than once: first by war, then by silence, and finally by time. Despite building separate lives, they always found their way back to one another... eventually.

Told through the eyes of a man revisiting the love that shaped him, Catching Stars in Jars is a poignant, nostalgic novel about memory, aging, and the beauty of what almost was. A love story not of grand declarations but of quiet devotion-of remembering when, even when the world forgets.

Autorenporträt
Sinara Ellis was born in Charleston, South Carolina, on November 2, 1973. Before the Carolina drawl could set in and turn this world traveler into a southern belle, she was swept across the pond as a toddler to learn how to keep calm, drink tea, write stories, and herd bunnies. As an adult, all that was learned became a way of life for our fair (almost see-through) author as she turned those stories into books to share. Throw in some military, eight years of college, and nearly 20 years of MMORPGs, and you have less debt than not having been in the military at all and a digital mount collection that makes nerds weep and earns you a large group of friends willing to tolerate your crazy.Anyhoo, back to the book stuff. The stories have piled up to a level she now needs help with. Finally, she has ventured out into the sun (damn, sunburns suck) and into the literary ether to sell the ever-growing slush pile to anyone willing to offer her some gaming gold or Earth money!
