Giuseppe Ruggeri has a PhD in economics, has been a professor at various universities, has had extensive professional experience working in government at the federal and provincial level in Canada, and has a lengthy list of publications. His latest two books are Work and Leisure in America (Friesen Press) and The Future of Energy (free reading on the internet).
