Arizona historian Parker Anderson, coauthor of the Arcadia book The Elks Opera House, has gathered these compelling photographs and stories of pioneer cemeteries, both past and present. Anderson resides in Prescott, where he is a local author, playwright, performer, and historian of the Elks Opera House. Photograph preparation, layout, and graphic arts were handled by David Schmittinger, a Prescott-area photographer and history enthusiast.
