BUT the main story is Héctor in Perú when he goes walkabout with Ima and her little son Maicu. Ima is a Quechua, but Quechuas are the descendents of the Inca, and the Inca assimilated the Chachapoyas. So can Ima be said to be Chachapoya? One reason why the answer could be 'yes', is that she is a deaf/mute who has lived a very secluded social life, but a woman who has a strong relationship with her environment in the high Andes of Perú. She takes Héctor's hand and takes him for a walk, taking Maicu along. Héctor realises their walkabout has interesting anthropological and archaeological ramifications. So they head for Ecuador, as one does. BUT there are obstacles...

Things Héctor forgot map, compass, phone, tent, tools, food, change of clothes, boots, money, bank card, and bone-setting materials. And a mule to carry it. But he has his passport! Good news until he's arrested for allegedly stealing his own passport. Better news Ima really has the nous of a Chachapoyas!

Juan in Love Energy Central debates with his Abuelo the idea that, 'There is no Good and no Evil,' both are nothing more than creative forces. Can this be True? Juan has his doubts.
