Autorenporträt
Die 1947 geborene Schweizerin Ruth Wyss wuchs wohlbehütet mit Eltern und Bruder auf, besuchte Primar- und Sekundarschule und das Lehrerinnenseminar. Nach drei Jahren Lehrtätigkeit folgten 1970 Heirat und Schwedenaufenthalt. Sie unterrichtete wieder zwei Jahre und wirkte mit bei der Bibliotheksarbeit. 1974 und 1976 kamen Sohn und Tochter zur Welt. Die Geschäftstätigkeit ihres Mannes ermöglichte der Autorin Reisen um die halbe Welt. Neben ihrer Familienbetreuung erwarb sie das Blockflötendiplom und initiierte einen "Mutter-Kind-Unterricht". Nach erneutem Umzug war sie 1984 Gründungsmitglied der Musikschule und des Schülerensembles. Auch dirigierte sie drei Jahrzehnte lang ein Ensemble für Erwachsene. Im Jahr 2002 eröffnete sie mit ihrem Ehemann eine Kunstgalerie. Vier Enkel bereichern das Familienleben. Die Autorin liebt es, Fototagebücher und Vernissagebriefe zu gestalten, zu lesen, schreiben, kochen, zu musizieren und zu organisieren.
