"I'm a former journalist who spent a long time saying I'd never write a book. I write cozy contemporary romance and high stakes fantasy romance. All my books are explicit open-door and absolutely not meant for readers who are under 18.My elder millennial protagonists are bisexual, neurodivergent, and live with chronic mental illness. They mostly have their shit together and I write their coming-of-middle-age stories.I write these types of characters because I'm a bisexual millennial with ADHD who never saw myself portrayed positively in books and on film. When I'm not writing, I teach yoga and fall behind on laundry. I live in Central North Carolina with my husband, child, a collection of aging pets, and a flock of chickens that won't stop tearing up the new plants in my flower garden."
