Her relationship with Steve hasn't gone public because she's afraid to ask for more. Steve has doubts, too, but drives them away with exercise and taking care of other military veteran students. If he can't trust Abby, he's going to lose her - and he can't sleep without her.

Meanwhile, Drew is barely keeping his life together. His parents kicked him out for being gay, his lying ex got all their friends in the break-up, and his eating disorder is flaring. Thankfully, he's been adopted by loud, fun Abby and quiet, fierce Mattie to hang out and sing oldies on the weekends. Tom's proposition threatens to upset all the painful progress Drew has made. Tom wants to make out with Drew, but also stay in the closet. Drew won't go back - not now, not ever.
