Chinese art is an ancient art. It has preserved many of its artistic styles throughout the ages, flourished in a wide social environment, and had artistic unity from the third millennium before Christ to the present era. Muslims have known this art since the dawn of Islam, and they were impressed by its products and were influenced by them. The book shows the relationship between China and the Near East in the Islamic era, and talks about the presence of Chinese antiquities in Islamic cities in the Middle Ages, and the admiration of Muslims for those antiquities, and their imitation of them, and their imitation of some of their artistic styles, and the similarities between the arts of the Near and Far East, those aspects that paved the way for this artistic exchange, and made it easy and accessible.
