Produktbeschreibung

"Choice Not Chance" is not written by a celebrity. It does not contain the glitz and glamour of celebrity life not the "juicy" details of the life of the rich and famous.

This book is the true story of one woman's experience with fear, pain and torment at the hands of someone who was supposed to love and protect her. More importantly, it is her story of survival. It is the dire wish of the author to use this book to give hope and inspiration to other women who live in similar situations. The message of "Choice Not Chance" is very simple but effective -nothing happens by chance. Things happen because we let them, but we all have choices. Freedom from pain inflicted by another is one of those choices, freedom to love and be loved gently, tenderly is an attainable choice for each of us.

Autorenporträt
Sue Potter was a Catholic nun and a missionary teacher for 15 years, traveling the world. She embraced and lived a life of total dedication to God and his people. She ventured into a land ravaged by civil war and in the midst of the horrors of war, found her soul mate. Abandoning her work, her life, her family she embarked upon a life with this man who swore he would "love her to death." And death she faced many times with him, until after six years of mental, physical and emotional abuse and torment, she left everything and walked out, went into oblivion and began life afresh, anew and free of fear and hurt. Having slowly rebuilt her life, opening herself to trust and love again, Ms Potter embarked upon a new career and has totally dedicated her life to her work and to those significant persons who have helped her reach this point in her life.
