Autorenporträt
Ali A. Alraouf is a professor of architecture and urbanism. His research interests focus on post-carbon urbanism, architecture, and heritage in Gulf cities. He has published more than 150 journal papers, critical reviews, essays, in addition to books and book chapters. Odeh Al-Jayyousi is a professor of innovation at Arabian Gulf University, Bahrain. He consulted with the EU, UN-ESCWA, World Bank, GIZ and USAID. He has published over 70 journal articles and books on sustainable development and innovation. His research interests include education policy, planning, sustainability, and innovation management. Kheir Al-Kodmany is a professor of urban planning at the University of Illinois Chicago, specializing in vertical urbanism, sustainable design, and visualization systems. With over 30 years of experience, he has published 15 books and 150+ scholarly works. His global expertise includes advising governments and delivering over 200 professional presentations, including numerous keynote addresses. He also worked for the Chicago firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM).
