Rezensionen
"This excellent work provides a comprehensive survey of Islamic philosophical thought. Written in an accessible language, it treats most of the major themes and topics of classical Islamic philosophy." Mehdi Aminrazavi, University of Mary Washington
"Whether philosophers who wrote in Arabic and were also Muslim show common features is an appealing question. More important is whether there was an Islamic philosophy in its own right. Lopez-Farjeat has addressed these questions and more. Through a thematic approach he expounds how these philosophers have produced the logic, natural science, psychology, metaphysics, ethics and politics of Muslim philosophy." Josep Puig Montada, Complutense University of Madrid
