Autorenporträt
Professor Michael Henein is a Consultant Cardiologist specialising in all aspects of general cardiology, transthoracic, stress and transoesophageal echo and carotid scanning, with a broad experience in cardiac CT. Following 15 years at the Royal Brompton Hospital, Professor Henein held the Chair of Cardiology at Umea University, Sweden for the subsequent 15 years and now he is a Professor at Imperial College London.

Professor Henein is also the Founder and Editor in Chief of the International Cardiovascular Forum Journal, and serves as a Guest Editor for the International Journal of Molecular Sciences, Frontier of Cardiovascular Medicine and Heart failure as well as the Journal of Diagnostics. He has supervised 25 PhD theses and over 100 MSc thesis in Cardiology and has published over 450 papers in peer review journals.
