Robert Louis Jackson (PhD University of California) is B.E. Bensinger Professor Emeritus of Slavic Languages and Literatures at Yale University, and taught at Yale from 1954 to 2000. Robert Jackson is a professor and a writer. He is a graduate of Oxford University and has authored 46 books and hundreds of newspaper articles. He was senior policy advisor to four Canadian Cabinet Ministers. Doreen Jackson is a writer and ski afficionado. They have travelled widely to modern violence-prone areas and peacekeeping missions, focusing on security and terrorism. They currently live in California.
