Samarasekara is a Senior Lecturer of Civil Engineering at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in Sri Lanka. Bryan D. James is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Christopher M. Reddy is a Senior Scientist in the Department of Marine Chemistry and Geochemistry at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution in the United States.
