What happens when love refuses to fit inside neat little boxes?

He thought he had found happiness with Esther, a strong and independent woman who let him love her despite preferring women. When she longed for a child, he gladly stepped in-not only as the father, but as a true partner. Then came Maya, Esther's vibrant girlfriend, who soon became part of their unusual arrangement.

What began as an unconventional romance soon blossomed into something bigger: two women, one man, and children who knew only love. From ultrasound pictures and doting grandmothers to whispered questions about "when's the wedding?"-their journey is filled with warmth, humor, and the challenges of building a life together outside the rules of convention.

Heartfelt, funny, and surprising, Commune of Love is a modern family tale that shows how love, in all its forms, is enough.

Autorenporträt
Werner Stejskal is a romantasy storyteller who believes that love and imagination belong together. He only recently began writing in the genre but quickly became addicted to creating heartfelt tales where romance meets fantasy.

Rather than long sagas, Werner prefers stories under 10,000 wordstales that move straight to the heart without unnecessary fillers. His stories often draw on the atmosphere of Turkish soap operas, blending romance, fantasy, and emotion into short but powerful narratives. Most importantly, his characters always find their way to a hopeful and positive endingbecause stories should let us dream.

Werner was born in Vienna, Austria, and immigrated to Australia with his family in 1987. Now retired, he enjoys the serenity of the Australian lifestyle, which gives him the peace and inspiration to write.
