Hans¿Robert Metelmann (M.D., D.M.D., Ph.D.) is professor and head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/Plastic Surgery at Greifswald University Medicine, Greifswald, Germany. He trained at the Cancer Therapy and Research Center at the University of Texas at San Antonio, USA. He is head of the National German Center of Plasma Medicine and cöeditor of the journal Clinical Plasma Medicine. Thomas von Woedtke (D.Sc., Ph.D.) is professor of Plasma Medicine at Greifswald University Medicine and program manager for Plasma Medicine at Leibniz Institute for Plasma Science and Technology (INP), Greifswald, Germany. He is cöeditor of the journal Clinical Plasma Medicine and deputy head of the National German Center of Plasma Medicine. Klaus¿Dieter Weltmann (D.Sc., Ph.D.) is chairman of the board of Leibniz Institute for Plasma Science and Technology and head of the Research Division Plasmas for Environment and Health. He held a profess orship for Experimental Physics at Greifswald University and a visiting professorship at New York University. He is member of the board of the National German Center of Plasma Medicine.
