Produktbeschreibung
Simone Pyne is struggling to cope with the weight of loss, unresolved childhood trauma, and the numbing isolation of city life. Through a strange twist of events-and against her nature-she joins a rural social experiment designed to explore whether modern society's vices stem from loneliness-and if intentional community can offer healing. As she navigates the challenges of communal living, she finds herself drawn to Anton, their enigmatic leader and fellow participant with his own buried grief. Their slow-burning connection becomes both a lifeline and a mirror, forcing them to confront the parts of themselves they've long kept hidden. When a violent incident fractures the camp's fragile peace, Simone must decide whether to retreat into old patterns or risk vulnerability in order to truly belong-for the first time in her life. Conation is a story for anyone who's ever longed for connection in a disconnected world.
