A frequent contributor to Early American Life and Connecticutmagazines, and The Hartford Courant, McCain wrote the award-winning publication To All on Equal Terms, the story ofConnecticut's official state heroine, Prudence Crandall. Her most recent book is It Happened in Connecticut.
