Michael A. Susko holds degrees in Philosophy and Counseling Psychology and brings an interdisciplinary lens to his writing, teaching, and research. He has taught courses in history, Indigenous studies, and dream interpretation, and helped found a progressive charter school that integrated the arts and sciences with a focus on experiential learning.

With a background in mental health advocacy and a commitment to social engagementincluding visits to a remote Guatemalan village through a Sister Parish Projectthe author's work is informed by both human experience and scientific inquiry.

His research explores the logarithmic unfolding of time across biology, culture, and now, the astronomical universe.
