Today's culture often drives people apart instead of bringing them together. Many of us feel surrounded by people yet experience growing loneliness, distrust, and division. These fractures weaken families, workplaces, and communities-and erode well-being and productivity.
Cultivating Connections offers a proven path to stronger, healthier relationships. Psychologist Judd Allen, Ph.D., introduces the Social Climate framework, a practical model for creating environments where people feel supported, valued, and inspired.
You'll learn how to build the three pillars of thriving groups:
- Sense of Community - trust, belonging, and caring
- Shared Vision - common purpose and values
- Positive Outlook - optimism, resilience, and hope
With 20 essential attitudes and behaviors, real-world examples, and the Social Climate Indicator, this book shows you how to transform disconnection into connection-at home, at work, and in your community.
¿ Replace loneliness and conflict with trust and belonging
¿ Strengthen teamwork, shared purpose, and resilience
¿ Create supportive environments where everyone flourishes
If you want to move beyond isolation and division, Cultivating Connections is your guide to building the supportive environments we all need to thrive.
