Katie DP is a poet and writer from the Midlands, United Kingdom. Her journey into writing began during a profound period of personal and spiritual transformation. After stepping away from her career in the legal field, where she had been working toward securing a training contract, Katie found that the physical and emotional burdens she had been carrying began to lift affirming her decision to follow a more intuitive path.

Through embracing change, marriage, motherhood, and completing her Reiki 1, 2, and 3 attunements, Katie turned to poetry as a way to process and celebrate the messy beauty of awakening. Now living happily in the countryside, she continues to write with the hope of inspiring others to honour their own unique journeys through shadow and light.
