Douglas Davies is Professor of Theology at Durham University, with interests in death, mourning, and crematoria. Rick Whitefield is a Junior Research Fellow at St John's College, Durham University in Theology and Research Associate of the Centre for Death and Life Studies with interests in anthropology, memory, and mourning.
