Sebastian Weiß, graduated from Jade University of Applied Sciences Wilhelmshaven with a Bachelor's degree in Medical Engineering. He completed his Master's degree in Medical Systems Engineering at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, where he came into contact with augmented and virtual reality for the first time. He then began his doctorate in Oldenburg in 2020, which he completed in 2024.
