Nafuna Wamai, a 59-year-old medical doctor from Mbale, Uganda, has lived with HIV for over 35 years. Despite facing numerous challenges, stigma, and discrimination, Dr Wamai maintained a strong academic performance and achieved success in her career. She is committed to sharing her story to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and inspire others.
