Autorenporträt

Devin has been writing poetry for over 20 years personally, as this is his first book publication. Devin has performed in multiple open mic & writing competitions from South Carolina to Virginia since the late 90's. Before that, it was the passing of his father at age ten that sparked his spirit for writing poetry, as this was his outlet for coping with his grief. Devin has also published individual poems, like "Only You" through the National Poetry Association in 1991. In his private life Devin, is a proud father and the youngest child of five siblings. Within here lies, the written emotions across his journey of life.
