Lisa Frieden grew up in Southern California and earned English degrees from Harvard University and UC Santa Barbara. She has worked in high tech public relations, survived a year on dialysis, underwent a kidney transplant, and is now a writer, mother, and homemaker, splitting her time between the San Francisco Bay Area and Lake Tahoe. In addition to her memoir, she is the author of the romantic suspense novels: The Offering and Finding Clarity. She is currently at work on her first romantic murder mystery, Love and Money.
