Autorenporträt
Dr Euclid Seeram was formerly the program head of the medical imaging degree at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where he worked for 38 years serving the medical imaging education and clinical practice communities. Dr Seeram is currently an honorary senior lecturer at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Sydney; Adjunct Associate Professor of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences at Monash University, Australia; Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Science, Charles Sturt University, Australia; and Adjunct Associate Professor of Medical Radiation Sciences at the University of Canberra. He also served as an external examiner for the computed tomography (CT) master's degree offered at University College Dublin, Ireland for about 4 years and subsequently advised the University of Sydney in Australia on curriculum matters regarding the CT specialization component of a new master's degree in medical imaging. Furthermore he has provided updates on the CT masters units offered by Charles Sturt University in Australia. Recently, he has developed a CT physics and instrumentation course for the bachelor's degree in medical radiation sciences offered by the University of Canberra in Australia


His current research interests are focused on radiation dose optimization in CT and digital radiography imaging systems. He has published several papers in professional and peer-reviewed radiologic technology journals and numerous books on CT, computers in radiology, radiographic instrumentation, digital radiography imaging systems, and radiation protection.

Dr Seeram is a founding member of the Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences and is now on editorial boards for Radiography; Biomedical Imaging and Intervention Journal; International Journal of Radiology and Medical Imaging; Open Journal of Radiology; Journal of Allied Health; Journal of Social Science & Allied Health Professions. He also serves on the international advisory panel for the Journal of Medical Radiation Sciences.
