Autorenporträt

Dr. Kumaran Rajandran is a Senior Lecturer in Linguistics at the School of Humanities, Universiti Sains Malaysia. He primarily teaches courses in English Linguistics. His research involves the multimodal study of corporate, historical, political and religious discourses. He also explores the articulation of identity, power and ideology in contemporary societies. Dr. Shakila Abdul Manan is a former Professor of English Language at the School of Humanities, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Her research involves how language is used to constitute, maintain or question relationships of power. She also explores issues of multicultural identity and their intersections with class, ethnicity and gender in contemporary postcolonial creative writings.
